Este es el tiempo de floración de la Phytolacca rivinoides, “planta indeseable” o “mala hierba”, como se le catalogó para la década de los ’50, quizás antes. Le encanta los lugares donde hay agua tales como ciénagas, ríos, quebradas, manantiales y bosques húmedos. Es una de esas plantas silvestres que te cautivan tan pronto la ves en el monte.   

This is the flowering time of this “gross plant” or “weed”, as was catalogued by the decade of ’50 or earlier. This plant prefers areas with water like swamps, rivers, creeks, springs and humid forests. Is one of those wild plants that captivate you when see it in the woods.

En honor a la unidad / Honoring Unity

En estos pasados días muchos grupos en distintas partes del mundo -incluyendo Puerto Rico- han estado celebrando y honrado un tiempo cósmico profetizado por varias tribus en el pasado. El llamado se escuchó y ahora debemos seguir trabajando y aportando al bien común y a la evolución de la conciencia.


During the last days many groups around the world –including Puerto Rico- had being celebrating and honoring a prophetical cosmic phase first announced in the past by few tribes. The call was listened and now we should have continued working and collaborating to the common good and the conscious evolution.

Dictyphora indusiata / Velo de Novia

Aquí uno de los hongos más impresionantes que he visto hasta ahora. Su peculiar apariencia lo distingue de los demás. El hongo “Velo de Novia” es sencillamente un espectáculo. Adjunto un enlace con un pequeño video sobre el crecimiento de los hongos en los bosques húmedos del trópico.
