El Bosque Pachamama es un espacio alternativo para el aprendizaje de la subsistencia forestal. Los conceptos que aplicamos provienen de: la agroecología, agroforestería ecológica, permacultura y la agricultura holística y de conservación. The Pachamama Forest is an alternative project for learning about forestry subsistence. The concepts we are applying come from different sources: agroecology, ecological agroforestry, permaculture, holistic and conservation farming.

La Pachamama

En muchas culturas de América del Sur, la Pachamama (palabra del vocablo quechua y que significa la Madre de la Tierra) es un símbolo respetado que representa la fuerza creativa femenina, encargada de mantener la vida y el balance del cosmos. La actividad fundamental con la que se asocia su simbología ha sido y es la agricultura, los ciclos y procesos en la naturaleza. Este bosque jardín es una ofrenda, un agradecimiento a la Madre de la Tierra, a la Pachamama por toda la abundancia que nos ha brindado a través del tiempo….

In many cultures from South America, the Pachamama (quechua word which means the Mother of the Earth) is a venerated symbol which represents the creative feminine force, responsible to keep the life and the balance of the cosmos. The principal activity associated to this symbol was (and is) agriculture, the cycles and the processes of nature.
